I had the honor of winning the Rookie of the Year award from "Kunsthilfe" as the youngest participant in the competition. For the competition, artists were allowed to create a design concept based on the theme "Circle of life – How can we get into the circle of life again?"
The title "Circle of Life" immediately caught my attention, and I had lots of ideas and visions that I needed to organize. I wanted to share a serious topic in an inspiring and easy-to-understand way, so I decided to use simple art language. I hoped to make people think and give them a starting point to think about this topic. That's why I thought of showing people floating in a circle, it's a way to honor ourselves and talk about our responsibility for climate change. At the same time, I wanted to show that we're all connected and we can change the world together. The deep blue color, which is my signature in art, also represents how serious the climate crisis is and how it affects our world.
