"Quiet Fires" Queer Art Exhibition in Paris 17-22 June

Dominik Gegaj is unveiling his upcoming personal project "Quiet Fires" for the first time, reflecting on his upbringing as a queer individual and the struggles of growing up in a conservative environment. The exhibition will be presented as a duo show in central Paris alongside artist Nir Giorgio Levin, with an opening vernissage taking place in the 1st arrondissement at 16 Rue du Louvre, 75001. The exhibition runs from June 17 to 22, and the artist will be present.

Quiet Fires is an intimate study of queer love, told through identity, secrecy, and desire revealed only in fragments. The exhibition draws viewers into private, passionate moments: hidden glances, late-night touches, and unspoken feelings once concealed from family, society, and faith. Through the works of Nir Giorgio Levin and Dominik Gegaj, Quiet Fires captures affection at its most delicate, where love exists in silence, and tenderness becomes an act of defiance. As spectators, we are voyeurs of innocence and resistance, drawn into the nostalgia of first love. In Quiet Fires, ongoing is no longer hidden, it burns in the open.
